While my goal is to have a relationship that involves more than sex, I am casting a broader net in hopes to meet that special someone. I'm looking for that woman who understands what men want (not what you're probably thinking). A woman who is conscientious, likes to read, likes to think and enjoys the arts. She enjoys learning new things (if only for the sake of learning). That's not to say she is always serious. This woman likes to have fun, and she likes to be close to the man she loves. She likes flowers for no reason, or secret notes left in coat pockets or lunch bags. She appreciates phone calls in the middle of the day, or kisses on the back of her neck. She enjoys a candle light picnic on the living room floor in front of a television showing a DVD of a roaring fire, with Sinatra or Martin on the stereo. Finally, the woman I'm holding out for is still a at heart and, like me, laughs at what life throws her; not with sarcasm, but with a sincere joy knowing that life is not perfect. Everybody gets flat tires, everyone gets caught in traffic, this is just life. Love it. Live it. And, most importantly, she doesn't believe that men are disposable. What are you holding out for? Are you chasing rainbows by hoping to meet Brad Pitt? Or are you looking for that man who wants to be along side of you building a wonderful life?
